Visa Details
Type of Visa -
Business and Travel Visas
Schedule an Interview. The Embassy of the United States
in Sana'a, Yemen schedules appointments for non-immigrant visa interviews
upon requests. You may request an appointment by email to consularsanaa@state.gov
or by telephone to +967-1-755-2000 on Sunday and Wednesday between
2 and 4 pm. Please include your name, telephone number, date and
purpose of travel. All applicants must appear in person for an interview.
Medical Visas
Individuals who seek medical treatment in the United States are
required to apply for and travel to the United States on a B-2 non-immigrant
visa. Application procedures can be found via our General NIV Information
Sheet. Individuals unable to attend an interview (for medical reasons)
may be represented by a close family member.
Immigrant Visas
The Embassy will accepts I-130 petitions for immediate relatives
of U.S. citizens on by appointment only. U.S. citizens may request
an appointment to petition for an immediate relative by email or
fax anytime, or by phone Sundays and Wednesdays 2-4 p.m. only. Please
include the petitioner’s name, the beneficiary’s name,
their relationship and a telephone number in your request. The Embassy
cannot accept petitions from Legal Permanent Residents or U.S. citizens
who are not resident in Yemen.

APPLICATION FORMS FOR NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS ARE AVAILABLE FREE FROM
THE EMBASSY OR CAN BE DOWNLOADED BY CLICKING HERE NOW.
The following must be brought to the interview for each and every
applicant (including children) who wishes to travel:
• An international passport in which the applicant’s
name is written in Latin characters. The passport must be valid
for at least six months after the intended date of travel;
• A 5cm X 5cm recent, high quality, clear, color photograph
for each applicant showing full face forward against a white background
(no photographs with dark glasses or head-coverings other than religious
wear are acceptable);
