Apply for a visa
All nonimmigrant visa applicants, including for tourism, business or other short-term stays, require an appointment for an interview. All applicants 14 years of age or above must have their own online visa appointment. Parents may apply for children under 14 years of age by making an online visa appointment and appearing for an interview on their behalf. Children under 14 who are resident in UAE should not appear at the Consulate for their visa interview. Children under 14 who hold Iranian passports or are not resident in UAE must appear at the Consulate for their visa interview.

Visa processing time

The majority of approved visas are ready the next day, but visa processing time varies. Some visa applications require administrative processing that will delay visa issuance. Administrative processing can delay some visas for 90 days or more.

Visa Status

Please check your case number on the list below to see if your visa has been cleared for issuance. If your case number appears on this list, you may return to the Consulate any drop off your passport any Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 7:30 and 9:00 am. You do not need an appointment. You may drop off your passport personally, or another person may drop it off for you.
