Visa Details

Type of Visa -

Student Visas
Students are encouraged to apply for their visas early to provide ample time for visa processing. Students are advised of the Department of Homeland Security regulation which requires that all initial or beginning students enter the U.S. 30 days or less in advance of the course of study start/report date as shown on the Form-I-20. All applicants should be prepared to provide:

Tourist/Business Visas
The "visitor" visa is a nonimmigrant visa for persons desiring to enter the United States temporarily for business (such as to consult with business associates or travel for a scientific, educational, professional, or business convention or conference on specific dates) or for pleasure (such as tourism, amusement, visits with friends or relatives, rest, medical treatment and activities of a social nature).

Fiancée Visas
American citizens wishing to bring their foreign citizen spouse to the U.S. must file a Petition I-130. It is important to note that application for the nonimmigrant visa for a spouse who is married to a U.S. citizen must be made, and the visa issued, in the country where the marriage took place. After visa processing and the visa is issued, the spouse can travel to the United States to wait for the processing of the immigrant visa case.
