Student Visa Application Requirements
Applications for student visas, like all other nonimmigrant
visas, are accepted by appointment only. The Embassy makes every
effort to expedite student applications, however, and will make
an appointment for a student visa interview within two business
days of the request. To request an interview for a student visa
application, you may write the Consular Section a

Nonimmigrant Visa Requirements
For complete information on nonimmigrant visas, please
refer to the U.S. Embassy website: http://kuwait.usembassy.gov Applications
for visitor and other nonimmigrant visas are accepted by appointment
only. Applicants should apply well in advance of their intended
travel. Appointment waiting times average between two to four weeks,
with the longest waiting times in the summer. Most approved visas
are issued the same day. Some applications do require additional

All nonimmigrant visa application require a nonrefundable application
fee of $100 dollars in local currency. This application fee may
be paid at any Burgan Bank location. If the visa is approved, there
may be other fees based on visa type and national reciprocity schedules.
