Visa Details

Type of Visa -

Immigrant Visas
Immigrant visas are for persons who plan to live, work or study and remain permanently in the U.S. Immigrant visas (IV) are a responsibility of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs. Most IVs require an underlying petition approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Citizenship and Immigration Services (US CIS) before any IV processing starts.

Nonimmigrant Visas
A nonimmigrant visa is most frequently a tourist, business, student, or specialty worker visa that will permit the applicant to stay for a particular period of time in the United States to accomplish a specific purpose, such as visiting, studying, or working in a specialty job.

Document Required -
For all student and exchange visitor applicants, Application Form DS-158 and Form DSP-2019 (formerly called an IAP-66) from an approved Exchange Visitor Program sponsor

A passport valid as of the date of entry into the U.S.
(persons whose passports will expire in less than 6 months are strongly encouraged to renew their passports prior to applying for a visa.)

Demand drafts for each applicant, as outlined below.

Application Fee : US $100: (current INR equivalent Rs.4,400/-, non-refundable)
Visa Issuance Fee ( In the event of your application accepted and Visa is granted). US $50: (current INR equivalent Rs.2200/-, refundable if visa is refused)
