Visa Details
Type of Visa -
The Immigrant Visa Unit processes cases for people wishing
to immigrate to the United States.
The Non-Immigrant Visa Unit processes applications
for temporary visas to the United States including tourist visas,
business visas, student visas and temporary work permits.
Document Required -
that an invitation letter from a US Citizen is neither
a pre-requisite to the issuance of a visa nor a guarantee that one
will be issued. We, therefore, have no specific format/wording for
it. Since the applicant would present his/her documents to the interviewing
officer only during his or her interview, invitation letters should
be sent/faxed to the invitee and not to our office.
