Visa Details
must be in a position to support him/herself and dependents;
if desirous of entering the service of an employer in the island, must produce a permit in writing for engagement, issued to the employer by the Ministry of Labour;
should not be a person of unsound mind or mentally defective;
should not be the subject of a certificate given to the Immigration Officer by a health officer that for medical reasons, it is undesirable for him/her to be permitted to land;

Type of Visa -

Non-Immigrant Visa

Requests for appointments should be made a minimum of 6 (six) weeks before the planned travel. Requests will not be accepted in person, by telephone or e-mail. U.S. Embassy security personnel will not accept requests at the gate.

Immigration Visa -

In order to immigrate to the United States, you must have an immediate relative who can file an immigrant petition for you. This relative must be a parent, spouse, child or sibling and must be an U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States of America.

Document Required -
1 - The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly. The photograph may be in color or black and white and must have a white or a off-white background;
2 - The photograph must have been taken within the last six months;
3 - Side or angled views are NOT accepted. Photos with dark, busy, or patterned backgrounds are NOT accepted. Head coverings, hats, and sunglasses are NOT accepted.

Fee -
Nonimmigrant visa application processing fee, Form DS-156 (non-refundable): $100.00
Border crossing card - 10 year (age 15 and over) non-refundable: $100.00
Border crossing card - (under age 15). For Mexican citizen if parent or guardian has or is applying for a border crossing card (non-refundable): $13.00
L Visa- Fraud Prevention and Detection for visa applicant in the L blanket petition abroad only (principal applicant only): $500.00
